The Prenatal Workout That Actually Works

Here at P.volve HQ, there's nothing that inspires us more than our community. From local studio-goers to our global streamers, we never tire of hearing your stories of how P.volve is truly changing lives Every day we have streamers writing in to share their story, and they're simply too good to keep to ourselves!

While we love a good before-and-after, we can't forget about the journey in between. After all, it's about progress, practice, and persistence-- not perfection-- and this is especially true when it comes to prenatal fitness

So in honor of #MomMonday, we're sharing one particular love letter we received detailing how P.volve has been a total pregnancy game-changer for this gorgeous mom-to-be!   

 
Dear P.volve Team,

I was already pregnant when I started P.volve. I've been pretty active before I got pregnant with my first child (which is due at the beginning of January). I used to workout 5-6 times a week for an hour and would go for long walks with the pup. Needless to say I was convinced that I'd be just as active during pregnancy. Boy, was I wrong!
 
During the first trimester I could barely workout as I was nauseous all day long and wasn't able to eat. Because of the so called morning sickness I lost quite a bit of weight and I even felt to weak to walk the dog.
 

When I started reincorporating workouts into my routine again I quickly noticed that most exercises didn't feel comfortable again and that I had to modify a lot which felt incredibly discouraging. 

In July I saw someone mention P.volve -- I never looked back! I really love the slow, precise and controlled movements that hurt in the most pleasant way. Now I feel like I'm getting a workout without putting myself at risk for injury all the while strengthening my body AND opening my hips (which might come in handy during labor!). My workouts -- even though I can't do them as often as I normally would (5-6 days a week) -- are my time to reconnect with my body and a part of my spirit that is important to me!
