P.volve Transformations: Ellie M.

At P.volve, we love hearing about clients’ progress and seeing how they’re crushing our workouts. These ladies, near and far, are giving the P.volve community some major inspo through their incredible transformations.

We know you know—the Summit 60 was no small feat. But so many of you told us about the incredible results you saw from the 8-week challenge that are still motivating you to move. Streamer Ellie M. is no exception. She committed to the Summit as her first dip into P.volve, and was finally able to find satisfaction with her daily routine. Read on for more about her experience.

How did you first find out about P.volve?

P.volve appeared on my Facebook feed one day and I ordered equipment and signed up pretty much on the spot! 

What were your initial goals when first starting to do P.volve consistently?

I suffered postnatal depression after giving birth to my daughter which led to fatigue and weight gain. I really wanted to get back into a regular exercise regime as well as lean and lengthen my body.  

How did you fit P.volve into your daily routine?

I’ve always been a morning person, so on days that I’m working I get up at 4:30 a.m. to get a workout in. On days that I’m home with my three-year-old daughter, Peggy, I workout a little later as she likes to join in. 

How did your nutrition play into your transformation experience? 

I have been counting macros and calories, and have been eating a high-protein, low-carb diet, which has been working really well and been amazing for my energy levels.

What became your favorite workouts or pieces of equipment?

I’m currently doing 7-Day P.sweat, and absolutely love it! I also love how the p.ball has changed the shape of my butt and thighs—it really works those hard-to-reach places!

What were the unexpected results you saw and felt?

Firstly, it’s the first workout regime that I’ve absolutely loved! I always look forward to doing my P.volve workouts and do them 5-6 days a week. Secondly, and most surprisingly, I can’t believe the change in my body—at present I’ve lost 5kg and over 17cm from my body! I never thought I’d have a flat stomach, let alone have noticeable abs, especially after having a baby. I’m in my mid-thirties and am in better shape then when I was in my early 20s!

Favorite piece of equipment, movements or streaming video? 

I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but I’ve learned to love all of the plank work with the gliders and ankle bands. I can’t get over the strength I now have in my body, and I carry that feeling of strength around with me throughout the day. P.volve has made me move my body in a more mindful way no matter what I’m doing, and my posture has greatly improved. It’s changed my life, and I’m so thankful that I discovered it.
